Clay County, FL

Clay County, Fla., has amended its property registration ordinance to now focus on foreclosure (previously vacancy). Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing and renewals will now be enforced on a semi-annual basis. A 10% fee will be charged every 30 days for late registrations.

Bangor, ME

The City of Bangor, Maine, has amended its property registration ordinance to include an increased semi-annual fee of $266 (previously $260).

Islip, NY

The Town of Islip, N.Y., is now enforcing its foreclosure registration program through a third-party service (Pro-Champs). Registration is required within 10 days of any foreclosure action and includes a fee of $500. Renewals will be enforced on a semi-annual basis.
