The Village of Hanna City, Ill., is now enforcing its property registration program through a third-party service (Pro-Champs). Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing or vacancy and renewals will take place on a semi-annual basis. A $300 fee will be included.
Highlands, NJ
The Borough of Highlands, N.J., has amended its vacant property registration ordinance to reflect the following increased fee structure:
- Initial Registration: $500
- First Renewal: $1,500
- Second Renewal: $3,000
- Subsequent Renewals: $5,000
Salina, NY
The Town of Salina, N.Y., is now enforcing its property registration program through a third-party service (Pro-Champs). Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing or vacancy and renewals will take place on an annual basis. A $250 fee will be included.
