Matteson, IL

The Village of Matteson, Ill., is now enforcing its property registration program through a third-party service (Pro-Champs). Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing or 30 days of vacancy. Renewals will be enforced on a semi-annual basis and will carry a $300 fee.

The City of Rock Island, Ill., is now enforcing its property registration program through a third-party service (Pro-Champs). Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing or 10 days of vacancy. Renewals will be enforced on a semi-annual basis and will carry a $300 fee.

Leonia, NJ

The Borough of Leonia, N.J., has amended its vacant property registration ordinance to now cover all vacancies and foreclosures (previously enforced by city notice only). Registration will be required within 10 days of the first default inspection, regardless of occupancy.
