The City of Countryside, Ill., is now enforcing its property registration program in-house (previously managed by third-party service provider ProChamps). It is important to note that while established fees and requirements will remain unchanged, a new registration form will be utilized.

Altoona, PA

The City of Altoona, Pa., has amended its vacant property registration ordinance to focus on three categories of buildings that would allow it to identify and take action on:

  • Neglected
  • Derelict
  • Unsafe

According to the City, the language of the existing ordinance will be replaced entirely to accommodate the new categories.

Marcus Hook, PA

Marcus Hook Borough, Pa., has amended its property registration ordinance to reflect an increased fee of $300 (previously $200). In addition, renewals will now take place on a semi-annual basis.
