Hempstead, NY

The Village of Hempstead, N.Y., has enacted a replacement property registration ordinance (effective 8/5/19) adding a requirement for a mortgagee to register properties found to be vacant upon default inspection (prior to issuing a notice of default).

## Brentwood, PA

Brentwood Borough, Pa., has enacted an ordinance requiring controlling parties of residential, commercial or industrial structures to register them upon 60 calendar days of continuous vacancy.
