East Peoria, IL

The City of East Peoria, Ill., has enacted property registration requirements within 15 days of foreclosure filing. The program became effective on March 1, 2019.

New Milford, NJ

On April 22, 2019, the Borough of New Milford, N.J., enacted property registration requirements within 30 days of foreclosure filing (if a property is vacant) or 30 days of vacancy following foreclosure filing.

NOTE:
 The previous version required registration within 10 days of vacancy only.

Pahokee, FL

The City of Pahokee, Fla., has revised its property registration ordinance to no longer include actions for properties entering default. Registration is required within 10 days of foreclosure filing (regardless of occupancy) and applies to both pre-sale and real estate owned (REO)/FHA post-sale properties. The revision became effective on April 23, 2019.
