The City of Nanticoke, Pa., has enacted an ordinance requiring a “mortgagee in possession” to complete annual registration of the following vacant properties: single-family residences, commercial buildings (after vacant for 120 days) and land (following first inspection). It is important to note that each property type carries a distinctive annual fee: single-family: $350; commercial: $450; lot: $200.
