The City of Chicago Heights, Ill., amended its property registration ordinance to now require registration within 10 days of foreclosure filing (regardless of occupancy status) on a semi-annual basis. Previously, registration was required within 30 days of vacancy on an annual basis.

The Village of Homer Glen, Ill., amended its property registration ordinance to now require registration within 10 days of default (regardless of occupancy status) on a semi-annual basis. It is important to note that a $300 registration/renewal fee has been added to the program as well.
